Some kids collect bracelets or Pokémon creatures. But Maria Williams, 11, and her brother, Miller, 10, have a different type of collection. They’ve gathered nearly 300 peacock feathers, animal skulls, fossils, and other natural objects.

Last year, the Minnesota siblings decided to show off their collection. They opened the Tiny Natural History Museum in Miller’s bedroom. It was such a hit with family and friends that the kids were invited to display it at the University of Minnesota.

The siblings are thrilled with their museum’s success. “It’s like a dream come true,” says Maria, who wants to study fossils in the future.
